Silicon carbide photonics with Fraunhofer IISB

In the project ALP-4-SiC, funded by the German Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space, we work with Fraunhofer IISB on silicon carbide photonic circuits for quantum technologies. Atomic layer processing smooths the surfaces of waveguides and ring resonators and clearly improves their optical performance.
