Congratulations, Dr. Arghadeep Pal!

Congratulations to Arghadeep Pal, who successfully defended his PhD thesis Tailoring Optical Fields for Nonlinear Photonics in Microresonators at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) on 16 September 2026! During his PhD, Arghadeep worked on machine-learning-assisted inverse design of microresonators, linear and nonlinear coupling of light in twin resonators and hybrid nonlinear effects in photonic integrated circuits, the work that also won him the best poster award at the MPSP Spring School earlier this year.
